A Journal Club is an informal discussion of a recent paper of interest to the research we do in the laser consortium. A Discussion Meeting will be led by one of us to present recent own work and discuss it within the group. You can also mix and match -- e.g. blend a recent paper into a discussion. These meetings should be reasonably informal and it definitely should not take more than a few hours to prepare for the speaker. No need for overly polished presentations.
